Company Overview
At KinTech, we strive to provide our customers with complete service. We have the people, the tools and the expertise to handle a wide range of design challenges. Our experience includes designing electronic products, ranging from this medical research robot to controllers for dry ice machines and air flow pumps. We can provide printed circuit board design, contract manufacturing services, automated test equipment design, circuit board and product assembly, and electrical engineering services. Company Background
KinTech was created when the former General Electric Aerospace Company was sold to Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin) and the plant in Daytona Beach, FL was closed. Kevin Kinion, an engineer at that plant, declined the offer by Martin Marietta to relocate. Instead, he and his wife, Elaine, chose to develop “KinTech”. KinTech was originally set up to build prototype printed circuit boards. However, due to customer demand, the firm quickly evolved into a product development and manufacturing company. To date, KinTech has designed and built dozens of new products for numerous clients.
In 2000, KinTech was nominated for the Volusia Manufacturers Association Emerging Small Business Corporation of the Year. That same year, Elaine Kinion, was selected to receive the Carl H. Shiller Award for her contributions to the Volusia Manufacturers Association.
